Research and fact-checking

Each guide is written from hands-on testing on the relevant device or browser. Where we cite TikTok features, we link to the official source where possible. Where we make legal observations, we note that rules vary by jurisdiction and recommend professional advice for specific cases.

Updates

We periodically review the guides for accuracy and update them when TikTok changes a feature, when our downloader changes behaviour, or when we find a clearer way to explain something.
